Druva, the cloud data protection provider, has brought on a new channel leader to drive the company’s partner growth.

Druva's Timm HoytTimm Hoyt will serve as vice president of global channel sales after spending the previous year leading sales at Atlantis Computing.

Also Sanjay Katyal joined the company to lead worldwide business development. He helped develop partnerships and alliances for VMware.

“We are extremely pleased to have Timm and Sanjay join Druva, as they bring huge amounts of experience in implementing worldwide channel and sales programs to us,” said Peter Amirkhan, Druva’s chief revenue officer. “They will both play pivotal roles in our expansion worldwide, supporting our partner and technology alliance initiatives.”

Druva's Sanjay KatyalThe company also announced a partnership with ConnectWise, which provides automation, remote monitoring and management platforms for MSPs. Druva said its partners will gain expanded support through Druva’s membership in ConnectWise’s vendor integration program. MSPs can now streamline their Druva portals with ConnectWise customer accounts.

“As more companies want to build out the range of services that they provide to their clients, ease of management will be essential to help them scale out their processes and keep pace with demand,”Amirkhan said. “Adding automation and integration to data recovery and information management services ensures a simple, manageable approach is in place for MSPs to use. This partnership with ConnectWise will help our joint customers serve their clients more effectively and more profitably over time.”
