Fruition Partners and Mobile Reach have partnered to bring cross-platform mobile applications to the ServiceNow Service Automation Platform. Through the agreement, Fruition Partners will use Mobile Reach's Splitware Mobility Platform to build applications to extend the reach and functionality of the ServiceNow platform to a wide range of mobile devices.

The two companies come together each with their own specialty. Mobile Reach's focus is on providing enterprise mobile software solutions for IT service management and IT asset management, whereas Fruition partners provides technology-enabled services for the service management sector. In fact, Fruition is a player in the cloud service management (CSM) market and recently spoke to Talkin' Cloud about the growing CSM market.

Marc Talluto, founder and CEO of Fruition Partners, recently said cloud service management is becoming a huge differentiator for those playing in the cloud market. Another of those differentiators, of course, is the ability to tie cloud apps into a variety of mobile devices. And with Fruition's partnership with Mobile Reach, it looks as though the organization is taking a big step into that aspect of the market.

"The Splitware technology integrated with the ServiceNow CMBD allows our customers operationally focused, real-time lifecycle status information about difficult-to-track assets," said Patrick Stonelake, vice president of Business Development at Fruition Partners, in a prepared statement.

Businesses are increasingly turning to what Talluto called "cloud-born systems integrators" to do the integration of cloud services into existing systems. Fruition Partners is one of the many firms aiming to leverage that opportunity and help customers find a way to use existing technology while also taking advantage of new cloud services.

Mobility is just the next logical step in that evoluation.
