Evolving Systems Inc., a Colorado-based software provider for the wireless, wireline and IP carrier market, has unveiled a new release of its Tertio service activation OSS.

Tertio helps service providers address voice price erosion, consolidation and fixed/mobile convergence. Tertio 7s features address the service development lifecycle.

Evolving Systems is exhibiting at 3GSM as part of the TeleManagement Forum Members Pavilion.

The Tertio 7 enhancements include improved operations and administration, easier configuration of activation tasks and service order sequencing and scheduling. It also adds multivendor support for full application distribution across large numbers of servers, adding the option to scale out as well as up.

The enhanced platform improves the applications alignment to TM Forum standards and programs as well as a clearer alignment with the main NGOSS components, Evolving Systems said, notably the eTOM business process framework and SID business entity model.

The release also is aligned with integration standards, such as the OSS/J Order Management API, JSR 264, the company said.
