Pax8 Building Relationship with Datto, MSPs

COMPTIA CHANNELCON — Pax8 has partnered with Datto to offer managed services providers Datto’s portfolio of data protection solutions.

Pax8, a Connecticut-based value-added cloud distributor, gets access to all of Datto’s offerings, which include disaster-recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS), managed networking and cloud-to-cloud backup. Ryan Walsh, Pax8’s senior vice president of partner solutions, says his company is realigning to give MSPs a “one-stop destination” for Datto offerings. Pax8 says it wants to be the main source of enablement and support that MSPs go to after purchasing products from Datto.

“The partnership with Datto will provide MSPs worldwide with enablement, support, and access to our dedicated Cloud Solutions Advisors, billing, and provisioning,” Walsh said. “As the experts in enabling MSPs to profitably grow their cloud businesses, we look forward to helping them add new monthly recurring revenue with the award-winning suite of Datto solutions.”

Pax8 cites a Gartner study that projects DRaaS to grow at 25 percent over the next two years and surpass the market size of traditional disaster recovery services. Datto says it provides business continuity solutions for more than 50,000 business customers. It announced the top 10 challenges for MSPs earlier this year.
