James previously was regional director of channel account management at Windstream.

“Nitel is continuing to differentiate itself in the marketplace through the investments we are making in how we interact with our customers,” said Rick Stern, Nitel’s CEO. “While others in the industry are divesting and consolidating efforts, Nitel is investing in the people, tools and resources that enable partner success and enhance the customer experience. We are pleased to welcome Nate James to the Nitel team, and look forward to leveraging his experience as we expand our reach and relevance among our channel partners, and across the broader communications industry.”

In his previous role with Windstream, James oversaw the company’s account-development team for the Southeast region. Earlier in his career, he held account management and sales support positions at NuVox, which Windstream acquired in 2010.

“I have had the privilege of working with Nate James for over 15 years,” said Randy Friedberg, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Converged Network Services Group (CNSG). “Nate’s tireless work ethic and unwavering dedication to supporting partners and their customers makes him one of the best customer advocates in the business. (Our) partners are in good hands with Nate leading Nitel’s account management team.”

Nitel’s interconnected network platform delivers hybrid networking, managed security, voice and cloud enablement services to multinational enterprises.
