mindSHIFT, one of North America’s best-known managed services providers (MSPs), has caught cloud fever. The company, as TalkinCloud expected, has rebranded its website around two core services: IT outsourcing and cloud services.
Going forward, mindSHIFT’s four core cloud brands are:
cloudSHIFT Applications — including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and Exchange. Plus, a cloud application that specifically targets law firms.
cloudSHIFT Desktop — mindSHIFT positions this as a “secure, afforrdable, trouble-free alternative to purchasing, managing and maintaining your desktop equipment.” All of the desktop software, which customers access through a web browser, is housed and managed in mindSHIFT datacenters.
cloudSHIFT Server: Based on VMware, mindSHIFT says it can deploy, manage and support an organization’s virtual server environment — either on premise or on demand.
cloudSHIFT VoIP: Including on premise and hosted options.
mindSHIFT continues to offer managed IT services. And mindSHIFT is the rare company that landed on both the Talkin’ Cloud 50 and the MSPmentor 100 lists. But if you tour the company’s website, you can get a feel for just how heavily mindSHIFT is branding around the cloud.
Still, mindSHIFT CEO Paul Chisholm has been careful not to hype the cloud. In a recent MSPmentor interview, Chisholm indicated that cloud is one of four key priorities at mindSHIFT. But based on mindSHIFT’s new website… cloud is a big priority.
