StackPath partners now have access to an enhanced channel partnership program. The company also has hired Frank Stepczyk as head of channel partnerships.

StackPath is a platform of edge computing, edge delivery and edge security solutions.

StackPath’s Frank Stepczyk

Stepczyk is responsible for building out the strategy and recruitment of new reseller partners worldwide. He’ll also manage the entire life cycle of the relationship with partners, enabling them to sell, deploy and recommend StackPath products.

Stepczyk has been working with channel partners for more than 25 years. For the first 12 years of his channel career, he built a channel program for telecom reseller Access One. He then led channel teams as part of Paetec/Windstream’s channel program. Most recently, he spent three years leading the channel team at CenturyLink/Lumen Technologies.

Stepczyk said this is an enhancement to an existing program.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

“The timing is great since there’s a need in the marketplace,” he said. “It’s a commitment from senior leadership to build a more robust program that is domestic and global in scale.”

Strong Interest from Partner Community

StackPath has had strong interest from the partner community around its edge compute/content delivery/edge security (WAF) product set and the level of technical expertise the company provides, Stepczyk said.

“The partner-led engagements have yielded attractive and profitable customers,” he said. “Senior leadership views the channel opportunity as a significant growth area within the company. And they see value in the partner channel and the tremendous growth it has experienced.”

Stepczyk said he’s fostered an entire career around relationships built on trust, execution and accountability.

“My relationships are national in scope,” he said. “And the partner community does business with people and organizations they trust. I felt StackPath’s transformational offerings exhibited the greatest value to IT leaders. This was a natural next step to elevate and leverage StackPath’s offerings with the channel partner community. The goal is to build a best-in-class program that will be respected for its integrity and known to be easy to do business with.”

The program will give StackPath and its partners a competitive advantage, Stepczyk said.

“The advantage is that the conversation around speeds and feeds, and legacy offerings becomes a more in-depth discussion around solving a business problem with a technology solution,” he said. “It’s technology driven and we have some of the best engineering resources in the space. This creates additional credibility for our partners in their trusted advisor role to their clients.”
