If you’re a solution provider and you’ve yet to submit a Business Success Story for a chance at a Channel Partners 360° Business Value Award, here’s what you’re missing.
For five years now, the awards ceremony has been a successful staple of our spring show — so we decided to expand the program. For the first time, we handed out CP360°s at our second show of the year: Channel Partners Evolution, last week in Washington, D.C.
The honors go to partner businesses that offer a well-rounded portfolio and a proven track record of providing holistic technology solutions.
Flip through our image gallery from the ceremony, held Aug. 15, in the beautiful atrium at the Gaylord National Hotel in National Harbor, Maryland. Then, go to our Business Success Story page and see how you can submit a short application to become eligible for our spring 2017 event in Las Vegas.

Channel Partners 360°: Fantastic Setting
The atrium inside the Gaylord National proved to be a spectacular setting for the 360° awards ceremony.
The Business Value Awards started as a simple idea to reward partners of all sizes for creating business value for their customers through telecom, IT and cloud solutions. And since, it has grown into one of the most sought-after awards in the industry.
We honored 11 solution-provider businesses on Aug. 15. What follows are individual pictures of the winners.
Channel Partners 360°: Congratulating the Winners
Rick Reed (on stage, left), SVP of U.S. Sales for Informa, and Craig Galbraith, Channel Partners’ executive editor, welcomed the winners to the event and cracked a few “well-received” jokes in the process.
Channel Partners 360°: BCM One
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society need to upgrade its network. BCM One was there with an overhaul of its primary and redundant WAN connectivity — fully managed. LLS has been able to expand its digital footprint and fundraising efforts with a new website and digital media campaigns, while still saving 20 percent in costs per month.

Channel Partners 360°: Cloud Computing Concepts (C3)
A medical billing service needed to be more agile and add global locations quickly without service disruption. C3 provided a highly redundant and secure, dynamically virtualized environment with an interconnected cloud platform that provides real-time on-demand processing, data integrity and business continuity for any situation.

Channel Partners 360°: Fusion PPT
Mobile health care workers in Uganda needed help with connectivity and data collection in remote areas. Fusion PPT customized commercial Android-based 7-inch touch-screen tablets with ruggedized casings and an application developed to allow data collection when there is no internet connection, then synchronize to a cloud environment when there is.

Channel Partners 360°: LanYap Networks & Tera Nova
LanYap Networks and TeraNova Consulting teamed up to help an Arizona-based public power and energy utility reduce its out-of-control wireless spend. After an audit and implementing the right-size plan, they were able to save the business $43,000 per month.

Channel Partners 360°: Liquid Networx
Liquid Networx provided a Fortune 500 energy company with a new infrastructure and network, along with managed services to provide 24/7 support to the client’s more than 300 sites; a satellite backup network for redundancy; and a technology solution to manage its wireline/mobility inventory, devices and expenses. The client is saving $650,000 annually.

Channel Partners 360°: Opex Technologies
A Germany-based pharmaceutical company bought a bunch of businesses in the U.S., all with their own data centers. Opex recommended a hybrid solution of consolidating computing environments across three facilities into a private cloud environment at a hosting company, then to start transitioning certain workloads into Azure and AWS. Cost savings and system performance improvements resulted.

Channel Partners 360°: Platte River Networks
Platte River Networks created a hybrid managed services solution for a medical lab that was having major issues with its cloud environment. It took its pathology application out of the cloud and put it on-premises in its own virtualized and redundant data center, with Exchange email, security monitoring, spam filtering and Office operating in the cloud. Performance improved immediately, as did that of the cloud-based applications and a new remote desktop server.

Channel Partners 360°: Richardson Communications & Consulting
Richardson Communications & Consulting leveraged its technology partnerships to help a medical tech company connect its IoT-enabled biomedical devices with its health management platform by way of the internet and a worldwide mobile network. This helped maximize speed to market and keep its product competitively priced. Ultimately, it helped the business grow internationally.
