SYNNEX Creates Exclusive UC Platform for Small Businesses
The distributor also unveiled a new Varnex Community website on the last full day of its partner event in Florida.

ORLANDO – SYNNEX wrapped up its Varnex partner event on Tuesday with two new announcements.
First, the distributor said it has created an exclusive UC platform for companies with fewer than 50 users. The system embeds Avaya’s IP Office Server Edition software on Lenovo’s ThinkCentre Tiny Desktop. SYNNEX said users get access to all of the capabilities of Avaya IP Office with less hardware, at a lower price.
“SYNNEX is able to offer our SMB customers an exclusive on-premise UC solution that meets budget challenges faced in the SMB market,” said Peter Larocque, president of North America Distributor for SYNNEX.
And, next, SYNNEX unveiled its new Varnex Community website, with new features for collaboration, networking and education among members. Varnex is the peer-to-peer community of SYNNEX resellers.
Now, Varnex Community members in the United States and Canada may customize their profiles, locations and interests to better connect with peers. They even can follow other members and track their followers.
“We expect these website enhancements to help members expand their networks, uncover business opportunities and discover the power of partnership from anywhere at any time,” said Bob Stegner, senior vice president of marketing, North America, at SYNNEX.
