Spotlight on Success: Get Your Tickets for the Channel Partners Conference & Expo

PHONE+ magazine announces the spring Channel Partners Conference & Expo will be held March 22-24, 2004, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Agents, VARs, interconnects and others return to more industry-tailored sessions than ever before. The most comprehensive trade show for indirect channel partners, Channel Partners expects about 1,800 attendees and more than 115 booths.


“While our seminars also concern bread-and-butter opportunities in the small to medium-sized business market,” says Bridget Brave, Channel Partners education manager, “attendees and exhibitors benefit from a forward-thinking show lineup with themes of convergence, technological innovation and enterprise market opportunities.”


The curtain will rise on an encore production of Point/CounterPoint, a general session that brings vendors and partners together on one stage for an industry summit. A forum for sharing ideas, the audience is encouraged to submit questions to the panel.


A second general session, Evaluating Business Models, gives channel partner business models a makeover, and a panel of industry analysts and consultants offer tips, solutions and roadmaps for business recovery.


With the spotlight on making it big, the concurrent sessions showcase new partner opportunities and offer strategic insight. The Wireless World track offers insight into cellular and Wi-Fi offerings, while the Industry Update sessions cover trends in contracts and RBOC agent programs. The four-session Marketing Showcase covers consulting and professional services, customer profiling for WAN technologies, how local number portability affects marketing, and remote access solutions for enterprises.


The conference closes with an addition to the Channel Partners lineup, the Regulatory Workshop, looking at the FCC’s recent orders and decisions and how they affect channel business.


The show offers sponsorship and exposure for exhibitors and vendors. Carriers and others can capitalize on the industry’s largest vendor-neutral collection of agents, VARs, interconnects and integrators, all looking to increase their revenue. Ten hours of expo hall time, along with networking cocktails and other events, allows for making connections and inking deals.
