PRESS RELEASE — SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA – JANUARY 11, 2018 – Reinvent Telecom, a provider of private-label cloud-based Unified Communications, Collaboration and Contact Center solutions, announced today that it has added Business Short Message Service (SMS) to its private-label Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) solution. The new Business SMS service allows users to easily send and receive text messages between their business phone numbers and smartphones, tablets or other devices.
Technically speaking, Reinvent’s Business SMS service enables texting between a direct inward dialing (DID) number on Accession UC service and an SMS-enabled device via the Accession Communicator Desktop/Mobile UC client.
In practice, Reinvent’s Business SMS service allows users who are unable to answer a call from a customer, supplier or colleague to quickly respond with a text message. And, they also can receive a text in response.

Additional features and benefits of business SMS include:
Freely Change from IM to SMS. If a contact has Accession Communicator and a mobile number assigned to them, users can switch between sending an instant message (IM) and an SMS in the same chat window. This gives you the ability to see chat history between IM and SMS devices.
Mobile Phone Masking. Users can text using their mobile phones but appear to be using their desk phone. This feature also prevents employees from accessing or taking customer data with them on their personal mobile phone when they leave the company.
Integrated communications. Accession Communicator becomes a central tool for all communications – voice, IM and text.
Reinvent’s Business SMS service is available to Accession UC users in the United States, U.S. territories and Canada. The service is priced on a per-user basis as an add-on to Accession Communicator, an industry-leading solution.
As an added incentive for its private-label channel partners, Reinvent also has released a new Advanced UC Package that includes Accession UC Desktop/Mobile, Business SMS and speech-to-text voicemail-to-email at a discounted wholesale rate.
