NaviSite Inc. has teamed with Zensar Technologies to provide cloud-based managed services including application management, end user computing, and data center services.

NaviSite, owned by Time Warner Cable, brings hosting and managed applications, messaging and cloud services to the partnership. Zensar specializes in software services and infrastructure management. As part of the deal, Zensar will deploy NaviSite’s IaaS and DaaS platforms. The idea is that organizations relying on legacy data centers now can migrate to NaviSite’s managed services for greater efficiencies and lower total cost of ownership.

This new partnership allows us to expand our service offerings to existing customers while reaching new customers through Zensars existing relationships in more than 140 countries,” said Craig Sandman, senior director of NaviSites channel program.

Zensar’s cloud assessment service teams will work with NaviSites experts to help companies migrate their clouds and build custom infrastructure.

NaviSites cloud services will enable Zensar to propose infrastructure solutions that are purely opex based, and will help our customers build and execute a roadmap for cloud application migration," said Doug Fallon, vice president of sales for Zensar.
