CHANNEL PARTNERS — IPitomy (Booth 1153) says it has developed the first Windows-based business-class softphone.
The IPitomy Communicator brings more competition to the VoIP market, according to the Florida-based company.
IPitomy can integrate features such as a live user presence list in which the user can use blind transfer, attended transfer, voicemail transfer, page, chat and call pickup. IPitomy’s Contact Dialer is built into the application, allowing users to import Microsoft Outlook Contacts, Excel CSV files and create custom contacts, all which can be dialed through one searchable list. Users also can dial numbers off of their computer screens with the ‘Clip to dial’ function.
“We are pleased to introduce the IPitomy Communicator,” IPitomy CEO Nick Branica said. “We wanted to develop something unique in the industry by creating a true business class softphone that is easy to use, complete and designed for a receptionist or power user.”
