Intelisys Aims to Pay Agents Faster

CHANNEL PARTNERS Intelisys Communications Inc. (Booth #1409 at the Fall 2011 Channel Partners Conference & Expo) is out to narrow the months-long gap agents tend to experience between closing a sale and getting paid.

This week, the master agency is laying out a new initiative the Advanced Commissions Program that it says will pay sales partners in a fraction of the usual time, sometimes in as few as 15 days. All qualified Intelisys agents are eligible to apply for the program, but only the first 50 to enroll by Oct. 31 will be included in the initial launch.

The Advanced Commissions Program was the logical next innovation stemming from the great success of our Partner Investment Program launched last fall,” said Mike McKenney, Intelisys vice president of partner sales and business development. This program directly attacks the age-old challenge of bridging the cash flow gap between when a new agent launches their agency and when commissions start to flow, which previously could be four to six months from time of sale.”

The advanced monthly commissions are secured by future commissions. Intelisys will advance monthly residual commissions from the time orders are accepted by suppliers into service delivery. That means participating agents will get paid 16 to 24 weeks faster than the industry norm.

This Advanced Commissions Program further reinforces our desire to leverage Intelisys strengths to ensure our sales partners success,” said Dana Topping, co-owner of Intelisys. We believe the investment Intelisys makes in our partners businesses is one of the best bets going in todays economy.”

Meantime, Intelisys has announced a new corporate website and logo, in addition to its recently launched social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

New features to the Intelisys website include: easy access to sales tools; customizable settings; video and audio clips; links to Intelisys social media sites; and a corporate blog.

Intelisys plans to use the social media accounts to help sales partners stay current on industry and carrier news, special promotions, events and training. In addition, they will provide content relevant to help their sales partners grow their businesses and achieve more success.
