“My experience in telecom goes hand-in-hand with IPtelX, as the foundation of the company is in the alarm industry which revolves around safety devices,” Faulmann says. “In my time as a project manager I managed a number of life safety device companies, so things really do come full circle.”

IPtelX President and CEO Jordan Dice says, “It is an exciting time in the telecom industry, and IPtelX is at the forefront of providing customers with customized solutions and integrated systems. We are happy to have Corinne join the team and be a part of our growth.”

As a specialty telecommunications provider for the alarm and security industries, IPtelX has experienced unprecedented growth since its inception and is anticipating continued growth as the industry discovers the performance benefits and value of custom solutions, mission-critical connectivity, and integrated services.

IPtelX offers a number of advantages that other telecoms are unable to provide. The company is one of the only carriers to build alternate paths of communication at the carrier and tandem levels for its network of local phone numbers, allowing true redundancy and failover of local phone numbers without the complicated porting process between carriers.

Another advantage is the company’s exclusive access to telecom and IP facility data such as the actual routes of fiber, splice points, and facility capacity. By using this data and its geographical information system, IPtelX is able to create robust and truly redundant networks between sites at the most affordable costs.

IPtelX also offers cost savings benefits such as RespOrg management, which reduces toll-free rates and puts the customer in control of toll-free number routing. In many instances, costs are minimal or even free for local phone numbers or inbound calling.
