Managed security services provider Perimeter Internetworking has announced Cavalier Telephone will add the Perimeter Unified Threat Management (UTM) suite, including Intrusion Defense, Malicious Code Defense and Secure Access, to their IP Productivity Suite for SMBs.
“We are very excited to partner with Cavalier Telephone,” said Brad Miller, CEO of Perimeter Internetworking. Cavalier is a highly innovative company providing leading edge business IP, voice and data services. Both of our companies share a common mission to bring state-of-the-art services that were once only available to the largest enterprises to SMBs in a price range that is within their reach.
Perimeters UTM suite of security services for Cavalier Telephone combines technologies from various vendors for services such as traffic policy control, intrusion prevention, Web content filtering and e-mail AV scanning. The UTM suite combines traditional firewall monitoring services with a centralized management platform that allows SMB customers to manage and monitor their threat activity. The offering also blocks all malicious traffic before it enters or exits a customers network. Perimeter provides an end-user portal for Cavalier Telephone to integrate into their existing customer portal, so that customers can view and monitor Internet activity, security alarms and other events.
