PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS EVOLUTION — Broadview Networks (Booth D38) introduces to channel partners selling Broadview’s OfficeSuite UC™ today the OfficeSuite® Readiness Tool to detect networking issues to accelerate VoIP installation and guarantee a predictable outcome. The new tool continually measures the performance of a business customer’s bandwidth-intensive and time critical applications over time during both peak and non-peak utilization.

“The OfficeSuite Readiness Tool is the ultimate way to guarantee a successful installation of a Broadview hosted solution,” said Vic Levinson, Broadview channel partner and Founder of Prime Telecommunications. “This is the only tool of its kind — it’s powerful, intuitive and extremely easy to operationalize around. The combination of both the tool and training provided by Broadview make for a successful relationships between Broadview, agents and customers.”{ad}

Unlike the vast majority of testing tools that only measure network access or Internet access bandwidth at a single moment in time, the OfficeSuite® Readiness Tool measures a range of attributes critical to supporting network-based services every 15 minutes and provides its cumulative results and analysis after accumulating data over a 7 day period. The tool provides a summary of five easy to understand indicators of voice quality over the test period for non-technical users. These indicators – jitter, latency, poor internet connections, an inadequate router and internal networks improperly configured – help customers determine how their internal company network and network access connections will support network-based services like VoIP.

Now, Broadview channel partners’ role in supporting customer networks can begin earlier and grow their position as experts with the ability to recommend corrective action before installing a new system. Broadview’s OfficeSuite® Readiness Tool analyses the results of each test to determine voice quality based on the data and media received, and then offers recommendations to improve quality before installing a new system such as the need to increase internal or internet bandwidth, inadequate internal networking equipment and network configuration issues.

Easy to operate concurrently across a number of customers through Broadview’s MyOfficeSuite Agent, a game-changing, unified system that centralizes all customer accounts into a single, user-friendly site, the path is paved for competitive differentiation, satisfied customers and revenue retention.
