Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Team to Help Customers with Cloud Migration

The OneCloud Experience Platform will deliver unrivaled ability for customers to compose the future of work, one analyst said.

Avaya and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) are extending the availability Avaya’s OneCloud CCaaS composable solutions to ALE’s global base of customers.

Through the partnership, ALE will offer Avaya OneCloud CCaaS, which provides advanced AI, identity and security, workforce engagement management and customer service capabilities, to ALE customers. In return, Avaya will offer ALE Digital Age Networking solutions to its customers. This will allow the company to cover the full spectrum of enterprise wired and wireless connectivity technologies. These include advanced cloud platform services, leveraging the latest in IoT analytics, digital workflow, secure mobility, AI for network automation.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top CCaaS providers offering products and services via channel partners.

“We are extremely pleased to partner with Avaya to deliver market-leading CCaaS capabilities to our customers and expand the market reach of our Digital Age Networking solutions,” Chen said. “The extensibility and composability of the Avaya OneCloud CCaaS platform allows us to work with an ecosystem of industry-leading partners. We will build with Avaya deeper and more engaging experiences our customers need.”

Jim Chirico is president and CEO of Avaya. He said the company was excited to partner with ALE to offer its OneCloud CCaaS to ALE’s customer base. This global base is nearly 1 million customers and nearly 3,000 partners.

“The partnership we announced today is highly complementary. We believe it represents a significant opportunity for Avaya and ALE customers alike to accelerate their move to the cloud. They will be able to deploy world-class cloud technologies from two global communications leaders,” Chirico said.

Digital Transformation

Business customers worldwide will be able to achieve digital transformation and move to the cloud, the companies said. Customers will deliver differentiated experiences for their end customers and better work experiences for their employees.

It also represents the success of the company’s strategy for delivering a highly composable architecture for the experience economy.

“ALE benefits by gaining access to Avaya’s growing ecosystem of experience builders,” Kerravala said.

ALE gains a surging customer base of companies that need support at all levels of cloud migration strategies. As for Avaya, its solutions will be enhanced through the addition of ALE’s Digital Age Networking portfolio. This includes its IoT connectivity solution.
