Portnox, the network access control and management provider, is launching a new global partner program, Portnox Sphere.

The program focuses on providing Portnox’s services to a wider range of enterprises, controlling access for more customers and endpoints. It is comprised of various partner types, including resellers, distributors, MSPs and MSSPs, and technology partners that sell, support, integrate and augment network access control solutions.

Portknox’s Martin Ryan

Martin Ryan, Portnox’s vice president of North America, tells Channel Partners this is his company’s first formal partner program.

“As we expand our partner ecosystem to help organizations secure network access for more customers and more endpoints, everywhere, we felt that there is a need to document the benefits of partnering with Portnox to our existing and future partners,” he said. “By offering our network access control products and solutions to partners that sell products with some level of connection or tie-in to the security space, the program offers customers a more well-rounded security portfolio, increasing business security. Portnox’s solutions offer complete visibility and control into the devices connecting over wired, wireless and VPN networks, including BYOD and IoT, at all times.”

Key elements of the program include: flexible deployment of on-premises device visibility and network access control (Portnox CORE), and a cloud-based offering for network access control (Portnox CLEAR); consolidated price lists with discount rates included; access to technological integrations with security providers; and a customizable security stack for MSPs and MSSPs.

“Portnox prides itself on its level of support for partners and their customers, starting from the first day of engagement,” Ryan said. “Portnox provides in-person sales assistance, demos and proofs of concept. Our technical support team is highly professional and available to address concerns, technical issues or requests for upgrades as they arise. In addition, our partners enjoy access to unique support resources such as one-on-one demos, a direct point of contact for sales and technical issues, and early access to new version releases.”

Portnox previously announced a partnership with WatchGuard Technologies, integrating WatchGuard products with Portnox CLEAR.

“Our goal is to offer WatchGuard customers total network visibility and security,” said Ben Oster, WatchGuard’s technology alliance product manager. “The integration of WatchGuard and Portnox CLEAR advances our customers’ ability to achieve this through enhanced monitoring of their entire network — reducing risks and speeding up response to vulnerabilities.”
