Avast, the cybersecurity and privacy provider, on Tuesday launched a new security platform for businesses and channel partners.

Avast Business Hub brings together several SMB security capabilities. Those include endpoint protection, remote access, backup and patch management. The agent works with a mobile interface and allows for multitenant support.

Partners use the centralized dashboard to monitor and respond to threats, as well as provision policy management tools and other services. The Business Hub also features a backup and recovery solution consumed as a storage-based subscription.

The Czech Republic-based company cites rising cyberattacks, increasingly distributed workforces and complex compliance needs.

Here’s our most recent list of new products and services that agents, VARs, MSPs and other partners offer.

“With technology rapidly adapting to support the extensive remote working required today, we are seeing additional cyber threats emerging. Avast Business Hub has been built to allow businesses and IT service providers to streamline the way they manage their cybersecurity solutions. This is a one-in-a-kind platform which combines all the features and services that organizations need today,” said Filip Hlinka, vice president of product for Avast Business.

Avast works with MSP, MSSP, reseller, integrator and distributor partners.

Last fall the company announced Marc Botham as its new vice president of worldwide channel and alliances. Botham said he is focusing on driving global partner recruitment.

“In order to address our significant growth aspirations in the SMB segment, we need to significantly increase the size of our partner ecosystem to support us in all regions,” he told Edward Gately.

In addition, Avast announced a $1.3 billion acquisition of AVG Technologies in September. The purchase approximately doubled Avast in size, in addition to significantly increasing its partner base.
