Trend Micro International is the latest company to join the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance, further expanding its 20-year relationship with the hardware and software giant.

As a member of the Cloud Alliance, Trend Micro will provide its Deep Security product to Microsoft Azure customers. The solution is available now through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

“Aligning with pioneers and innovators, such as Microsoft, reinforces our commitment to help end users protect data across their entire IT environment, from the desktop to the network and the cloud,” said Partha Panda, vice president of global channel and strategic alliance at Trend Micro, in a statement.

Trend Micro is currently a Gold Certified Microsoft Partner as well as a member of the Microsoft Active Protections Program, according to the announcement. The company also offers its Cloud App Security Solution for Office 365 customers, which provides users with threat protection and control for their Office 365 environments.

A free trial of Deep Security for Azure is available for customers who wish to try before they buy.

“Security is an utmost priority for organizations relying on the cloud,” said Nicole Herskowitz, senior director of product marketing for Microsoft Azure. “We look forward to offering our customers Trend Micro solutions that provide end-to-end protection from one of the foremost cloud security providers in the industry.”
