Cybersecurity company Gigamon has launched its new Catalyst Channel Program, which features an overhauled incentive structure designed to increase its partners’ earning potential.

The company has fully refreshed its technical sales enablement and developed additional training resources. A fully integrated partner portal is in place, and the company launched a refreshed discount and incentive strategy.

Gigamon’s Michelle Hodges

Michelle Hodges, Gigamon’s vice president of worldwide channels and alliances, tells Channel Partners that Catalyst updates her company’s existing program and includes “enhancements to increase our value agreement with our channel.” Gigamon provides visibility to network traffic across physical, virtual and cloud environments.

“We are aggressively growing our business via a channel-first strategy — it’s critical for us to have committed partners and for that commitment we updated the program to invest in our most committed and valuable partners,” she said. “Gigamon is fundamentally changing how we go to market, and with partners initiating a significant portion of our business, it’s time to demonstrate our commitment to them in return.”

Gigamon reviewed the new program with its top 50 partners before launch with “excellent feedback,” Hodges said.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

“Our unparalleled investment in the Catalyst Channel Program strengthens our ecosystem by increasing partner training, providing stronger support tools, delivering greater market access and accelerated business growth opportunities,” said Shane Buckley, Gigamon’s president and COO. “This creates a winning formula for our ecosystem and maximizes value for our customers. Moving forward, our sales, marketing and enablement efforts will be laser-focused on a channel-first approach, starting with the strategic overhaul of the incentive models which creates an unmatched value exchange for our partners.”

Gigamon will launch MSSP offerings during the second quarter, Hodges said.

Last summer, Gigamon acquired Icebrg, a Seattle-based firm that provides data collection, processing and analytics capabilities. The combination of network traffic visibility from Gigamon’s platform, and Icebrg’s detection and triage of threats will allow enterprises to reduce risk and keep pace with the rapidly evolving threat landscape.
