F-Secure on Thursday announced a new Global Partner Program for its ecosystem of channel partners. The Finland-based company’s offerings aim to protect digital content across devices and access points for customers and businesses.

The company said managed services providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs) using the new channel partner program can benefit from “healthy, growth-friendly margins” when selling F-Secure’s real-time security solutions and services from the cloud.

F-Secure said one of the program’s goals is to expand the company’s network of more than 3,500 partners to meet the growing security and privacy needs of businesses.

The renewed program has three different levels of doing business:

  • The entry level is open for all of F-Secure’s partners. It offers a startup package including business tools and free training.

  • Gold partners also get business-supporting and marketing tools, as well as additional benefits.

  • Platinum partners receive the maximum array of benefits and support from F-Secure.

“Managed service partners and VARS have a great business opportunity in front of them to build a sustainable security service business,” said Pekka Usva, vice president of Corporate Security at F-Secure, in a statement. “There is no better time to start selling security from the cloud, with the strong growth forecast ahead in managed services.”
