CloudBerry Lab has integrated a pair of its backup services with Autotask and ConnectWise.

The team-up with Autotask involves CloudBerry’s cloud backup service. The companies say their partnership creates a complete, cloud-based IT business management platform that enables joint customers to automate customer management for backup services, including user lists, billing and support tickets.

The service, aimed at small and medium businesses, gives managed service providers (MSPs) what Cloudberry says is an efficient approach to IT service management that will help them expand their businesses.

Users of this new service can back up compressed file shares and Windows Server data directly to a cloud storage account and then easily restore that data, the companies said. CloudBerry encrypts all of the data with customer-controlled keys to ensure security and neither CloudBerry nor the cloud storage provider have access to customer data.

“With this integration, MSPs now have a complete, managed cloud backup solution that enables them to automate management of the service using Autotask’s cloud-based solution,” said Alexey Serkov, CTO at CloudBerry Lab. “Providers not only have the ability to fill a critical gap in their service offerings, but they can do so at a consistently high quality standard while keeping their operational costs competitive.”

Cloudberry, based in Southern California, also has integrated its managed backup service with the ConnectWise Business Management platform. It aims to give MSPs, VARs and systems integrators a seamless online backup solution to offer their customers.

The integration allows ConnectWise users to import contacts into CloudBerry Managed Backup and be notified automatically of any backup/restore failures. Additionally, CloudBerry says solution providers using ConnectWise will benefit from having backup billing details in one location, along with data from the ConnectWise platform, to offer customers true unified billing.
