Appstractor Launches Beta Program for Privatise Online Encryption Software

PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS CONFERENCE & EXPO — April 18, 2018 — Appstractor Corporation, an IT privacy and encryption software specialist has announced the launch of a Beta program for its latest businesses software tool, Privatise Online Encryption (booth #8060).

Privatise Online Encryption is the first online encryption software built specifically for the small and medium business market, offering enterprise level security but with an ease of use, integration and management which makes it ideal for small and medium businesses without a dedicated IT department.

The official launch of the Beta program comes as the product moves closer to full deployment and small and medium businesses and MSPs are now being given the chance to get an early look at the platform and help give first hand feedback on how it operates.

Unlike existing enterprise VPNs which are complex to deploy and more suited to large organisations or those aimed at consumers which are adapted to be used in a small business environment Privatise has been built from the ground up for SMBs.

The new encryption platform has developed so that every user or device within a business can be managed and monitored from a central account, removing the risk that unmotivated users will misconfigure or misuse the software and ensuring devices are protected at all times.

Rather than relying on individual employees to actively turn the encryption capability on, Privatise encryption works constantly in the background with reconfigurations and updates happening automatically.

Announcing the launch of the Beta program from the Channel Expo in Las Vegas, Paul Rosenthal, founder and CEO of Appstractor, which has offices in London, the US and Israel, said:

“Small and medium businesses have been badly let down by online encryption software with many being left extremely vulnerable to attack because the current VPN solutions are not built with them in mind.

“The large-scale enterprise solutions, which are aimed at large organisations, require far too much administration and the consumer products have no central oversight or management capabilities, so businesses have no idea if their employees are using them properly.

“The launch of the Privatise Beta Program is a major step in the development of a dedicated online encryption platform aimed at protecting small and medium sized businesses which are much more vulnerable to cyberattacks than they think.

“Unfortunately, too many either do not understand this and use consumer VPNs which do not protect them as much as they think, or find the enterprise versions too difficult, administrative and cumbersome to use so don’t bother at all.”
