XO Names 2010 Top 10 Channel Partners

XO Communications Inc. reported record results from the XO Business Partner Program and named its top-performing indirect sales partners for 2010.

2010 was a banner year for the XO Business Partner program,” said Brian Law, who was named national vice president of indirect channels in February 2010. We had double-digit growth in both revenue and sales, and 2010 was our best sales year ever. This is a testament to quality and value of the IP and managed network services XO offers to our partners.”

Law said the 2010 results demonstrate success with midmarket and enterprise customers as well as next-gen services. Fifty-four percent of sales came from midmarket, enterprise and Fortune 1000 customers. In addition, 20 percent of sales came from new customers with spend of $25,000 per month or more. Top-selling services included MPLS IP VPN, Ethernet and SIP, he noted.

Intelisys and XO shared an epic performance year, blowing away previous years’ top partner growth by historic proportions,” said Jay Bradley, president, Telecom Services, at Intelisys. XO reported Intelisys tripled sales over 2009. Intelisys Sales Partners are the best in the business at raising the bar and nearly tripling the high water mark for new sales in a single year. All of us at Intelisys are incredibly grateful to our sales partners for all their hard work, and to the dozens of sales and support professionals with both companies that made 2010 such a breakout year. This is just one more example of the huge opportunity we all have to grow our businesses and to grow this channel in ways many did not believe possible.”

PlanetOne is marking its fourth consecutive year in the top three and WTG is celebrating its third year in the top five. Newcomers to the top 10, include MicroCorp and Simplify.
