WOW! Business, the communications and cloud arm of cable operator WOW!, now offers voice, data, Internet and cloud services to businesses and organizations in Maryland’s Anne Arundel County.

That brings to 19 the number of markets the company serves in 11 states. Anne Arundel County is comprised of cities including Annapolis, Millersville and Pasadena. The Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation says the county is home to 14,872 businesses.

WOW! Business gets access to the populous county thanks to a majority ownership of fellow cable MSO Broadstripe, which will continue to serve residential customers while WOW! focuses on business clients.

WOW! Business reaches markets in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and southeastern United States; it owns more than 40,000 miles of local fiber and coax networks. The company said it will be adding network and other infrastructure and resources as a result of the expansion into Anne Arundel County.
