Florida-based NetWolves has scored a personnel coup with the hiring of IBM’s Laura Ellis.
NetWolves said it has named Ellis as vice president of enterprise management services. In addition to working with enterprise customers, Ellis will oversee NetWolves’ service delivery, service assurance and technology teams. She comes to NetWolves from IBM, where she had worked since 2009 in various roles. Most recently, she was client director for Tech Data Corp., one of IBM’s four distributors. Ellis also worked in IBM’s cloud computing and server/storage management divisions.
“Lauras focus on enhancing our relationships with our customers and partners, as well as her expansive professional experience will be instrumental as we continue to grow,” said Peter Castle, president and CEO of NetWolves.
Fifteen-year-old NetWolves aggregates bandwidth from service providers throughout the country. It also serves as an outsourced IT department, a telecom broker and software developer.
