Premises-based SD-WAN provider Ecessa has promoted Colm Armstrong to vice president of sales for the company.

The promotion follows an expansion of Armstrong’s role as director of East sales to include more partner and channel sales responsibilities. In his new role, he will continue to drive strategic sales partnerships while educating partners, resellers and direct end-users about the benefits SD-WAN technology products.

Under Armstrong, Ecessa says its sales team will continue to grow. He also has held channel leadership positions with IntelePeer and Internap, as well as EarthLink and Broadview Networks, which were acquired by Windstream

“I am excited to take Ecessa to the next level of growth as vice president of sales for the organization,” he said.

Ecessa provides network management services for businesses of any size and industry. Customers can upgrade a premises-based or virtual instance as needed with a software download.
