Cablevision SIP Supports Avaya IP Office

Optimum Business, a Cablevision Systems Corp. business unit, announced Wednesday that its Optimum Voice SIP Trunking is compatible with Avaya IP Office 6.0.

The service is available through Optimum Business as well as third-party resellers in the New York metropolitan area.

Released in March 2010, Avaya IP Office 6.0 is designed for small business, with some compelling price points and features for the sub-20 employee segment.

Optimum Business already has announced compatibility with Asterisk, Cisco SPA 9000, Digium Switchbox AA65 IPPBX v23695, Fonality Tribox Pro, Microsoft Response Point, NEC Univerge SV8100 series, Panasonic – NCP & TDE series, Talkswitch – 848vs and Toshiba – Strata CIX series.

Optimum Voice SIP Trunking offers support for up to 24 simultaneous call sessions and up to 100 individual phone numbers. Features include caller ID, directory listing, E911, call forwarding, anonymous call blocking and anonymous calling. as well as alternate call routing for business continuity.

The service is priced as a flat rate and is available exclusively to Optimum Online customers. Each simultaneous inbound/outbound call session is priced at $29.95 per month, and business customers can select to purchase anywhere from four to 24 sessions. The first block of 10 DIDs is included. Up to 90 additional DIDs are available per customer and are sold in blocks of 10 for $1.95 per block, per month. The flat-rate calling area includes the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
