Chicago-based master agent Avant Communications has signed a strategic agreement with PacketFabric.

Channel partners can now sell the network-as-a-service provider’s portfolio. PacketFabric provides a software-defined networking platform that gives private, direct connectivity from location to location. Connection speeds range from 50Mbps to “multi-100Gbps.”

As a result, customers can decrease their reliance on public internet and exercise more control over their data.

Avant president Drew Lydecker said PacketFabric boasts a “superior technology and reputation.”

“For more than a decade, Avant has been the leading distributor of next-generation technologies, paving the way for others in the agent community to ramp up their portfolios with disrupters,” Lydecker said. “This partnership with PacketFabric represents our dedication to providing value and innovative solutions to our customer base of leading enterprise customers.”

New Era

Select master agent partners like Avant for the first time can deliver PacketFabric’s solutions, according to PacketFabric CEO Dave Ward. The vendor first launched its channel partner program in 2017.

“Avant is a leader in selling the most innovative technology solutions to the enterprise, and we’re excited to accelerate sales of our network-as-a-service (NaaS) platform though their best-in-class master agents and Pathfinder app.”

The partnership will help Avant’s analytics division perform market research to help IT professionals make good decisions.

“The consultant partner model is the leading driver of sales for innovative technology companies and Avant’s agents will be the best evangelists for the PacketFabric platform as they preach about why NaaS is the future of networking,” Ward said.

Avant in July released a UCaaS analytics report, which showed a major increase in UCaaS sales during March. Read about how Avant and its master agent peers served their customers amid shelter-in-place restrictions.

PacketFabric last year announced a $75 million joint venture funding round round. The five-year-old vendor operates out of Culver City, California.
