Howdy, and welcome to this week’s Channel Partner Program Roundup. This week we’ve got news from KEMP Technologies, Aspect Software and En Pointe Technologies, so put on your spurs and let’s get ridin’.

KEMP Technologies: The 100 percent channel-focused load-balancer and application delivery controller vendor has added 16 partners to its VARMaster Partner Program including Cohesive Logic, Firewall Junction, NWD MicroAge and The Mirazon Group.

The KEMP VARMaster Partner Program works with independent technology providers in the United States and Canada to expand the availability of KEMP’s load balancers. It provides sales, training, support and marketing opportunities to KEMP’s technology resellers, system integrators and managed service partners to ensure customer satisfaction.

Aspect Software: The customer contact and enterprise workforce optimization provider announced two new members to its channel partner program, ExtraTeam and Qoncert, as the company works to bolster its global channel presence.

Both ExtraTeam and Qoncert have a strong Microsoft practice — a quality Aspect is looking for in its partners, said Debbie Moon, Aspect’s Channel Development director. “The second part of Aspect’s channel strategy is to expand our workforce optimization footprint,” which includes unified communications, another area in which both companies have strong capabilities.

En Pointe Technologies: The super-size solution provider has tapped Tom Versfelt as vice president of its Cisco Solutions Practice, where he will be responsible for building and driving the strategic direction of En Pointe’s Cisco Solutions Practice, according to the company. His focus includes business development and market expansion, and evolving the Cisco relationship around the core architectures of the data center, collaboration and borderless networks.

Versfelt will also head up operations of the En Pointe Collaboration Solution (ECS), a hosted, subscription-based collaboration service that integrates voice, mobility, audio, web- and videoconferencing, presence technology and call center applications. He most recently was senior director of worldwide WebEx sales, operation and marketing for the commercial markets at Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO), where he was responsible for building, developing and executing sales and operations strategies for Cisco’s SaaS offerings.

And so another edition of Channel Partner Program Roundup comes to a close. Come back next week for the latest in channel partner happenings. Until then, ride on.
