XO Names Partner Experience Director

XO Communications Inc. announced Monday that Cheryl Vick has been named director of partner and customer experience.

Vick is leading the team supporting partner relationships while also managing all direct customers and the teams supporting these customers.

Previously, Vick was director of operations for the  XO Business Partner Program. Before joining XO, she spent a year as a regional sales manager for Qwest Communications (now CenturyLink) and prior to that spent 11 years as a regional manager for Global Crossing (now Level 3).

Maria Funkhouser, XO’s vice president of customer experience, said Vick already has proven expertise in “ensuring an outstanding customer experience while also engaging with partners and enabling success” and already is making strides leading her new teams.

Vick is the second personnel announcement coming from the XO Business Partner program in less than a week. On Aug. 9, the company said Alethea Peyrin was named senior manager of operations.
