TelCentris Snags Microsoft Marketer

TelCentris has announced the addition of social media and public relations executive Erik Bratt to its management team. Bratt will serve as vice president of corporate communications.

Bratt has nearly 20 years of communications experience, including a decade in technology marketing and several years in news reporting. Bratt will oversee all strategic communications at TelCentris, including public relations and analyst relations. He will also lead social media marketing strategy.

Bratt recently worked at Microsoft, where he helped lead marketing, public relations and social media initiatives as part of Trustworthy Computing, a division created by founder Bill Gates to promote the company’s security and privacy accomplishments on a corporate-wide level. Prior to Microsoft, Bratt served as director of corporate communications at WebSideStory, a Web analytics pioneer (acquired by Omniture). In that role, Bratt generated significant publicity and industry recognition for the company’s award-winning suite of online marketing optimization services. In September 2004, he helped lead the company through a highly successful IPO. Bratt recently headed up a social media and public relations consulting firm, while also producing best-selling reports on social media marketing for MarketingProfs.com. Bratt started his career as a newspaper reporter for The San Diego Union-Tribune.

“We are excited to have Erik on board as we pursue an aggressive growth strategy focused on delivering innovative unified communications and IP technology services,” said Bryan Hertz, CEO and co-founder at TelCentris. “Erik’s depth of experience across digital marketing, PR and social media made him an ideal candidate to lead our communications initiatives.”
