Cloud CCaaS platform provider LiveVox has named Bobby Hall as global channel sales vice president. Hall will lead LiveVox’s partner ecosystem expansion.

Hall has spent 20 years working in the channel. Prior to joining LiveVox, Hall was global vice president, North American channels at 8×8. He has won several channel awards, including being named to Channel Partners’ Circle of Excellence, as well as a Channel Futures Channel Influencer. Prior to 8×8, Hall held channel positions with CenturyLink (Lumen), Unify, Arrow, ShoreTel and Avaya.

“Today’s contact center software vendors tend to be focused on a single use case, but one size doesn’t fit all,” Hall said. “LiveVox’s partner-friendly consumption models offer partners an opportunity to delight their customers and build profitable cloud franchises. LiveVox is what our partners need, and I couldn’t be more excited to have this opportunity to help them.”

Global Channel Sales and Investment into the Ecosystem

When Hall began working for 8×8, he said the company had well below 50% of its revenue coming from the channel. Hall left that organization, but not before helping to bring that percentage up to 87%. Hall said he’s enthusiastic about LiveVox’s investment in the channel and the opportunity to build “a world-class channel team,” as he’s done elsewhere.

He added: “It all starts with the technology and the fact that [LiveVox is] recognized worldwide. Ultimately, it’s the leadership team and the changes and investment that they’re making in the channel that attracted me to this role.”

John DiLullo, CEO at LiveVox, said the channel is critically important to the company’s forward strategy, especially as a source of business opportunities and innovation.

“Our ability to bring in known contact center executives with extensive channel and customer care expertise showcases LiveVox’s maturation and signals our unwavering commitment to our longstanding and new business partners,” DiLullo said.

In addition to Hall’s appointment, LiveVox named Paula Morton vice president, sales engineering. Morton will lead LiveVox’s sales engineering teams and partner pre-sales enablement. Most recently, Morton was digital strategy director at Avaya.

Hall replaces Dan DeLozier, who left the company a couple of months ago.
