Intelisys' Rick RibasIn his new role, Ribas will oversee sales in the eastern region of the United States, and is responsible for the experience and satisfaction of all sales partners in that region. He manages a growing team of channel managers and sales engineers. Ribas and his team have recruited more than 600 sales partners during his tenure.

Ribas joined Intelisys in 2010 and has been serving as vice president of partner sales and business development, East Region. He has expanded and developed a tremendous team, and his success all comes back to that singular focus: it’s about our sales partners.”{ad}

Ribas brings nearly 30 years of telecom channel and master agency experience to his new role. Before joining Intelisys, he was PlanetOne Communications’ chief operating officer. He entered the industry in 1987 when he founded Online Communications, which was later sold to OneStar Communications.

“The Intelisys community is a big family, genuinely, and I consider it an honor to serve such an incredible group of sales partners, and am grateful for the opportunity to work with the best colleagues in the industry,” Ribas said. “As the channel continues to evolve, we have no intention of slowing down. We will continue to seek out and identify new opportunities, and find new and better ways to exceed the expectations of our sales partners on a daily basis.”
