There’s a new sales boss at Global Capacity, the connectivity-as-a-service company.

Global Capacity's Patrick HannonPatrick Hannon joins Global Capacity’s executive team as chief revenue officer. He will be responsible for all aspects of sales for the company, including business services, wholesale and channel sales.

“We are excited to have Patrick lead our sales efforts as we continue to grow and scale One Marketplace,” said Jack Lodge, president of Global Capacity.

The One Marketplace platform combines an interconnected, aggregated data network with a cloud-based application designed to automate the design, pricing, delivery and maintenance of network connectivity.

Before Global Capacity, Hannon was chief marketing officer and president of CloudScale365, a SaaS company, where he remains a board member. Partners might know him from his three-and-a-half year stint as senior vice president of wholesale and carrier services at EarthLink.{ad}

“Global Capacity solutions enable application and cloud service providers to extend the value of their services from end-user locations to the high-demand destinations where those services are now hosted,” said Hannon. “This is compelling in today’s environment, and I am excited to help bring that value proposition to more customers as we continue to grow One Marketplace.”

The company’s partners include master agents, agents, system integrators and VARs who want to help customers connect to the Internet, the cloud, business locations, data centers and colocation facilities around the world.
