In this position, Krief will be responsible for sales operations, business development, channel strategy and customer support throughout the United States and Canada. Based in New York City, she will report directly to Homayoun Razavi, the company’s chief customer officer, and executive vice president of global sales and digital marketing.

“North America represents one of Coriant’s largest regions in terms of growth opportunity as service providers, web-scale operators, enterprises and cable/MSOs brace for the impact of 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT), edge compute and other service-enabling technologies,” she said. “With a proven solutions portfolio and disruptive innovations from its multi-sided platform ecosystem partners, Coriant is uniquely positioned to help customers realize the true revenue potential of new end-user services.”

Krief previously was BroadSoft‘s global vice president, where she oversaw the company’s largest customers, including Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. She originally joined BroadSoft in 2006. She has more than 20 years of experience in service-provider and enterprise sales.

“With an outstanding track record of success in our industry, we’re very excited to welcome Sandra to the Coriant leadership team,” Razavi said. “As an accomplished sales executive, she will play a critical role in growing our strategic accounts, helping to drive new opportunities for our industry-leading portfolio of open and software-driven solutions, while building traction for our newly introduced multisided platform partner program. Sandra has demonstrated success in building high-performing and multifunctional sales, engineering and management teams, and coupled with her client successes she will enable us to further enhance the value we can bring to our North America customers.”
