Comstar Interactive has hired Loretta Koerner to manage business development for mobile solutions.

Koerner comes to Comstar from Sprint Nextel Corp. where she was an indirect channel manager, handling the day-to-day activities and sales for 11 regions across the country.

She will be responsible for establishing new mobile point-of-sale business partners, leveraging her current business partners and exploring product opportunities in wireless and wired telecommunications, the company said. Koerners tasks will include selling the companys Charge Anywhere product on mobile applications paired with Bluetooth card readers/printers and enhancing Comstars presence as a Sprint Business Solutions Partner, Comstar said.
