CloudJumper, the provider of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), workspace as a service (WaaS) and desktop as a service (DaaS) solutions, has appointed Frank Pulliam as channel sales manager for North America.

He is a 20-year IT veteran, 15 of which was spent running his own MSP organization. Pulliam was the owner of Vantage Networks for almost 10 years before merging with ComSys in 2014. In his new role, Pulliam will be responsible for helping new and existing channel partners capitalize on the midmarket opportunity for Cloud Workspace for Azure.

“Frank’s appointment is well-timed as spending on business-class cloud services is one of the highest in the industry and is expected to remain so through 2026,” said Max Pruger, chief revenue officer at CloudJumper. “With his extensive background as an MSP, he will bring a wealth of experience to our partners as interest in Cloud Workspaces continues to skyrocket.”

The appointment of Pulliam piggybacks on Microsoft’s announcement in September, at its Ignite conference, that the company would offer Windows Virtual Desktop delivered on Azure. CloudJumper is one of the partners that Microsoft expected to extend the service to through the Azure marketplace.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in January.

CloudJumper has done just that.

The company has expanded its partnership with the software giant by integrating the its Cloud Workspace Management Suite platform with Microsoft’s Windows Virtual Desktop. The alignment of these solutions allows for fast, simple, centralized deployment of Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop services with management cost-savings for MSPs and business customers, they said. The CloudJumper powered Microsoft solution delivers all of the elements required to rapidly orchestrate Windows Virtual Desktops on Microsoft Azure for employees to improve the mobility and productivity of business computing environments, according to CloudJumper.

“Having been a managed services provider for more than a decade and delivering services powered by CloudJumper for years, I have a deep understanding of the opportunities available to partners,” said Pulliam. “CloudJumper has made great strides in the channel and I look forward to helping the company further support partners, especially in the midmarket, where a large portion of my time has been centered.”
