Saducas will lead sales and account management teams focused on SkyKick’s MSP segment. She will drive the company’s reach and engagement with its 25,000 MSPs and the broader MSP market.

She is the cloud management software provider’s first leader promoted to the company’s executive team from within.

Saducas tells Channel Partners she will develop a “world-class sales team who is passionate” about helping partners be successful in the cloud. She also will optimize SkyKick’s sales model to create more sales specialization, and increase the focus of its sellers around partner needs.

“Partners at different stages of their engagement with Skykick need different types of sales support,” she said. “For example, new partners may need more enablement activities (demos, training, competitive information, value prop, etc.). Partners who have been using us for a long time are looking to build deeper relationships and loyalty. So structuring our sales team to provide the right level of engagement and support for each partner will be a focus for 2020.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in March.

The biggest issue facing SkyKick partners is the uncertainty in the market and the effects of COVID-19, Saducas said.

“Some are seeing a massive increase in support load as their customers seek more support for remote work and business continuity,” she said. “Others are facing different negative consequences, especially if their customers are in heavily impacted sectors. Our focus as a company is always helping the MSP be more efficient and improve its profitability, which means one thing today, but changes over time.”

SkyKick will continue to support its partners with product innovation, promotions and payment terms to help them manage the current business environment, Saducas said.

“I have a very long list of to-dos given the change in role: launching a new sales system, a new product launch and COVID-19,” she said. “However, I am most excited about connecting with my new team outside of Europe to learn more about them and how they operate. I look forward to learning together and sharing best practices globally to make us a better company for partners to work with.”

In her previous role, Saducas drove awareness and adoption of SkyKick’s products. She helped position the company as a leader in General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance.

She also advocated for European data protection and the rights of SkyKick partners.

“SkyKick’s rapid expansion and growth for our partners in Europe is due in no small part to Kathryn and her demonstrated ability to build the SkyKick team and brand into a substantial force in the region,” said Todd Schwartz, SkyKick’s co-CEO. “Her appointment allows us to further develop our global sales teams’ capabilities to better help serve our partners’ cloud business.”
