PGi's Thomas Bouttier and Frank Paterno
Thomas Bouttier (right) is the new senior VP of partner sales and Frank Paterno is the new VP of business development at PGi, the online meetings and conference call software vendor.
Both are promotions within the company, which made the announcement at Channel Partners Evolution.

PlanetOne's Eric Pankonin
Master agent PlanetOne named Eric Pankonin senior director of partner development. He's responsible for recruitment, support, growth and overall success of PlanetOne's partner community in the East.
His experience includes stints at AT&T, Time Warner Cable and more.
Pax8
Jess Maria (left) is the new VP of market development at cloud distributor Pax8. Also new are Danielle DeCosta (upper right), vendor success manager, and Samantha Nelson (lower right), VP of channel development. Not pictured is Ryan Strouse, program manager.
Maria, DeCosta and Strouse all follow Andrew Pryfogle, who we featured last month, to Pax8 from Intelisys.

AireSpring's Rick Komon and Blake Gunn
AireSpring, the MSP for cloud and connectivity, tapped a Netrix vet and an AT&T alum to join its team of channel managers.
Komon (right) is a regional channel manager for the Midwest; he will focus on expanding business infrastructure in the Chicago area. Gunn (left) has a similar role in the Southwest, based out of Dallas-Ft. Worth.
Comtel Communications & Simplicity VoIP
Comtel Communicaions promoted Pete Kraehmer to VP of enterprise sales. He'll focus the bulk of his time and energy managing his base of business while growing additional sales through personally co-selling opportunities in the MSP space.
Amy Humphreys has been promoted to VP of marketing and agent enablement. She will continue to develop tools for agent success and will be the lead contact for agent support for Comtel and Simplicity VoIP.
RiskLens' Orion Suydam & Brian Stone
That's Orion Suydam on the left, new VP of products at RiskLens, the provider of cyber risk quantification (CRQ) and cyber risk management software. On the right is Brian Stone, the company's new chief revenue officer.
Suydam is tasked with executing on RiskLens' SaaS platform vision. Stone is charged with continuing the company's growth and sales team expansion in the U.S. and across the globe.
Nominet's Alex Pitigoi
Alex Pitigoi is Nominet's new head of sales for the Americas. She comes to Nominet from Cipher, where she was VP of U.S. sales, leading the North America practice, managed sales directors and global consulting resources.
Nominet says Pitigoi brings experience tapping into high-growth markets for software and cybersecurity firms.
Nerdio's Scott Bechtold
Scott Bechtold, former channel sales manager at CloudJumper and CEO of Agility IT, is the new general manager of sales at Nerdio, which provides Microsoft Azure IT automation and offers an Azure solution for MSPs.
Bechtold's primary focus at Nerdio will be to build on its growth and connect with even more MSPs for Azure education and adoption.
Vectra's Jessica Couto
Network threat detection and response provider Vectra hired Jessica Couto as its new VP of channel for the Americas.
Couto, a veteran of Jask, Carbonite, Hexadite and more, will be responsible for devising a go-to-market strategy while providing a complete program to Vectra's wide range of global partners.

Sangoma's Mike Watts
Sangoma, the UC provider, at Channel Partners Evolution announced the promotion of Mike Watts to cloud sales manager.
In this role, he will recruit, enable and develop cloud agent relationships. His previous job was account executive, where he achieved greater than 50% cloud growth.

Granite Telecommunications
Also at Evolution, Granite Telecommunications said it has hired four new regional channel managers, for a total of 11 in the past six months.
They are: Jay Gatto, representing Florida (bottom right); Rick Giesea, northern California and Nevada (middle); Michelle Kirsnes, western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and northeastern Ohio (top right); and Bob Crawford, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico (left).

Remediant's Bryan Copeland
Bryan Copeland,comes to Remediant, the privileged access management software provider, as an alumnus of VeriStor Systems and Trend Micro.
He'll be the new global head of channels, tasked with overseeing the growth and development of Remediant's first channel program.

Carbonite
Cloud-based data protection provider Carbonite updated its executive team following its acquisition of Webroot.
John Post (upper right) is chief operating officer, Chad Bacher (lower right) is chief product officer and Hal Lonas is chief technology officer.

High Wire Networks' Philip Burnett
High Wire Networks, which offers Overwatch managed security platform as a service, hired Philip Burnett as chief information security officer (CISO).
Most recently, he was CISO and director of IT security at R1 RCM, and a security operations center manager at Sentinel Technologies.
As the leaves start to change, so do people in the channel, landing new jobs and getting promoted to take on additional duties at their current companies.
They run the gamut in the telecom and IT channels, featuring a new senior VP at PGi who is Intelisys UCaaS-certified; four regional channel managers at Granite Telecommunications, first introduced at last month’s Channel Partners Evolution; and a pair of new channel managers at AireSpring who call Birch and AT&T its former employers.
