Burstorm, a leader in cloud enablement software and consulting services, today announced the addition of Jaywant Rao to its executive team as executive vice president of global channels and alliances.
Rao comes to the company with more than 24 years of experience in technology, operations, sales, services and alliances in various executive leadership positions for top companies like Oracle and Salesforce. His extensive professional background offers a breadth of knowledge in software development, IT infrastructure and cloud-based applications. In his most recent position, Rao spearheaded the creation of a highly scalable global alliance program for Savvis, where he more than doubled revenue in two years.
Additionally, Rao ran the ISV Alliances team at Salesforce.com, where he worked with technology companies to build and deploy cloud-based applications and also held various management positions at Embarcadero Technologies and Critical Path. Prior to that, Rao spent 11 years at Oracle, where he was responsible for software development, sales and service.
