Acronis Builds Partner Expertise with New Programs

Data protection solutions provider Acronis launched its Acronis Academy eLearning Platform and the Acronis Partner application to help partners improve their sales and technical expertise, preparing them to sell Acronis solutions and stay up to date with the latest company news and product information, according to the company.

The Acronis Academy eLearning Platform is an online learning management system similar to other partner portals, which allows users to take virtual courses to improve their sales and product training. Unlike other online training programs, however, the eLearning Platform allows users to jump in and out of training sessions at will and retain their progress for completion at a later time. Currently, only the Acronis Sales Professional Training program is available, but the company promises to introduce product-specific training modules and additional language compatibility in the next several months.

The Acronis Academy eLearning Platform is transforming the way training and education materials are delivered,” said Andrey Zevakhin, senior director of Training at Acronis, in a statement. “The availability of tailored sales and technical training anytime and anywhere will make it easier for Acronis partners to become a trusted advisor and preferred solution provider to their customers.”

Acronis Partner is a free app for iOS and Android users that will allow partners to access the latest news, product information, competitive information and training via the Acronis Partner Platform, according to the company. The app is currently only available to partners in North America.

In February, Acronis streamlined its solutions under the “AnyData” moniker in an attempt to lesson confusion over its growing data backup portfolio. The company recently announced the availability of True Image for Mac, the company’s full system image backup solution and its first ever product for Apple (APPL) Mac environments.
