Distributor SYNNEX Corp. this week launched what it’s calling a comprehensive channel mobility strategy.

The company’s Global Mobility Solutions unit said its new initiative, MOBILITYSolv, helps resellers capture the entire sales opportunity as businesses grow increasingly mobile. SYNNEX said the program uses top vendors, but is only naming Verizon as one of them for now; the company will provide more details through a series of MOBILITYSolv road shows.

MOBILITYSolv does reach across SYNNEX offerings, so it works with and encompasses services including M2M, productivity, security, optimization and support.

“At certain times we create new business models to address tipping point trends responsible for changing how businesses operate and how people consume information,” said Kevin Murai, president and CEO of SYNNEX. “With mobility and cloud reshaping the IT industry, MOBILITYSolv goes beyond products and infrastructure, resulting in a comprehensive…mobile solution.”

Adnon Dow, vice president of SYNNEX’s mobility division, also said MOBILITYSolv helps resellers and their enterprise customers analyze the data behind mobility “and understand what to do with that data to make smart business decisions.”
