Mobile security provider Airwatch announced the integration of Apple Configurator with iPhone and iPad devices for mass deployment and configuration. This mobile device management announcement comes approximately two weeks after MSPmentor reported that MetTel Chooses AirWatch for Mobile Device Management. Here’s the update.
This new integration provides customers with the following:
Real-time visibility of mobile devices and mobile device assets over-the-air.
Advanced capabilities for certificate management, compliance monitoring and remote wipe/locks.
The ability to install the AirWatch MDM profile during device registration for Apple Configurator.
Add configuration profiles and applications to devices by utilizing AirWatch’s OTA management.
AirWatch services more than 3,000 customers in the retail, financial services, healthcare, government, distribution, education, hospitality, manufacturing, telecommunications and transportation industries. More information on the company’s partner program can be found on the company’s website.
