IT security and solutions distributor Computerlinks has signed an agreement with iScan Online to provide bring your own device (BYOD) security scanning to managed services providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARS).

Both companies said the partnership will address mobile security and payment card industry (PCI) compliance needs, deliver business applications to users from any device and provide partners with the option to white label the product.

Computerlinks Product Group Manager Dominic Wordsworth said in a prepared statement that enterprise mobility has created new opportunities for the channel, but it has also brought security and compliance challenges.

"The agreement with iScan Online provides our partners with a solution to address these challenges, which can be quickly integrated within their existing security and mobility portfolios and provides valuable additional revenue streams," he said.

Additionally, the agreement complements the wider mobile management partner strategy of Computerlinks, as iScan Online sits alongside other innovative and disruptive technology vendors.

"By partnering with Computerlinks, iScan Online can now offer the channel the tools they need to address the new and serious challenges that BYOD and mobility can pose," said iScan Online CEO Carl Banzhof in a prepared statement.
