Carahsoft’s Chris Clarke

Carahsoft Technology nudged out perennial rival Westcon Group to win FireEye’s distributor category. Chris Clarke, director of sales at Carahsoft, stressed the importance of relationship with the security provider.

“With the security industry being ultracompetitive, it’s vital to have strong partnerships that deliver value for both organizations,” Clarke said. “Over the past year, FireEye has improved the experience for its customers by introducing initiatives such as revamping its pricing and packaging, developing its managed services portfolio and enhancing its channel-enablement offerings. This has made the partnership even more profitable for us, and winning the USPS and Americas Distributor of the Year award caps off a fantastic 2018 working with FireEye.”

Carahsoft won Ivanti’s 2018 Distributor of the Year award.

FireEye CEO Kevin Mandia honored the six winners for growing their security businesses with his company.
