SkyKick, Pax8, Intermedia Integrate With ConnectWise

SkyKick, Pax8 and Intermedia on Thursday announced new integrations with ConnectWise, the business-management platform used by more than 100,000 partners globally.

SkyKick and ConnectWise are integrating their products to help partners migrate and back up Microsoft Office 365 customers, and manage their IT presence in one place.

By using APIs through the SkyKick Developer program and the ConnectWise Invent program, SkyKick Cloud Backup and SkyKick Cloud Migration Suites now will be accessible inside the ConnectWise CloudConsole.

SkyKick's Chris RaynerChris Rayner, SkyKick’s vice president of product management, tells Channel Partners the collaboration drives “efficiency, velocity and a better partner and customer experience.”

“For example, partners will be able to leverage SkyKick’s powerful email-discovery technology prior to buying and provisioning Office 365,” he said. “It will also enable partners to easily bundle in a SkyKick Migration Suite and SkyKick Cloud Backup order as a component of the initial Office 365 purchase, or attach migration and backup after the Office 365 sale. Either way, our intention is for partners to kick off workflows inside of ConnectWise that enable them to move and back up their Office 365 customers using SkyKick. Whether it’s at the initial sale of Office 365, launch of a migration, or restoring customer data inside a ticket, integrating billing information, partners will be able save time and provide better, faster customer support.”{ad}

SkyKick Cloud Backup provides cloud-to-cloud backup, unlimited storage and one-click restore of lost Office 365 data; and the SkyKick Cloud Migration Suites allow IT consultants, SIs, MSPs, VARs and other IT partners to automate an entire Office 365 migration project from initial sales to project completion. ConnectWise CloudConsole is a management, monitoring and billing tool for Office 365 and Azure.

SkyKick is the first ISV that ConnectWise is making available via its CloudConsole.

“More deeply integrating our technologies makes perfect sense and creates an experience that enables partners to more efficiently deliver their cloud and managed-services offerings,” said Craig Fulton, ConnectWise’s vice president of product.

Pax8 has integrated ConnectWise into its Command Console, a cloud product marketplace brandable for partners. The new partnership allows service providers to synchronize accounts, cloud subscriptions and billing transactions between ConnectWise and Pax8.

“Pax8 strategically helps partners build their cloud practices through assisted selling, automated provisioning, and simplified billing for cloud products,” said Ryan Walsh, Pax8’s senior vice president of partner solutions. “The integration with ConnectWise enables us to relieve the pain points associated with handling and processing cloud subscription business.”

Intermedia’s new integration with ConnectWise aims to further streamlining business operations for growing MSPs. The new integrations include the following enhancements: quick and easy integration within a streamlined interface; mapping of end-user accounts between Intermedia’s partner portal and ConnectWise; exporting of user lists with enabled services; automatic daily data exports setup; and issuing of regular end-user communications, the company said.

“ConnectWise is the business-management platform of choice among our partners,” said Eric Martorano, Intermedia’s senior vice president of worldwide sales. “System-integration investments like the ones we’ve announced today are just another way that Intermedia supports its channel-first commitment.”
