The new Calgary site complements the Toronto data center, opened in 2013, to provide Canadian customers with the same level of data protection afforded by more than 50,000 businesses globally. The Canadian expansion comes on the back of Datto’s recent entry into Southeast Asia with the opening of its Singapore data center.

As one of the only data protection providers to deploy multiple sites in Canada, Datto’s bi-coastal data centers give customers the flexibility to store and secure data in three possible locations: Toronto, Calgary, and the customer’s local SIRIS device.
